Collexpo believes a feedback system is the best method of policing its marketplace. We also believe both parties in a transaction should be able to judge the other - not just buyers leaving feedback for sellers. While we have designed our system based on those of other marketplaces, we seek to dramatically simplify it, thus reducing the burden on high volume buyers and sellers. Therefore, all Collexpo transactions are simply Excellent, Neutral or Poor, though one may leave additional commentary to elaborate on the level chosen.
Better yet, feedback defaults to Excellent for both buyer and seller when a transaction closes, and will only update if either party chooses to modify it. In this way, neither buyer nor seller needs to actively leave feedback, unless
-> He/she wishes to leave Neutral or Poor feed back because he/she unhappy with the outcome of the transaction OR
-> He/she wishes to add commentary to the automatic feedback
Where do I leave custom feedback? Buyers - to leave customized feedback (non-system generated) for a seller, identify the relevant transaction in your Bought report.
Sellers - to leave customized feedback (non-system generated) for a buyer, identify the relevant transaction in your Sold report.
What are the rules regarding Feedback? Simply put, neither Collexpo nor its partners tolerate any abuse of the Feedback system. Broadly speaking, abuse includes any intentional slandering of a transaction counterparty. While justified comments about poor transaction quality are a part of any feedback system, we find that there is a clear line between personal attacks, unwarranted low ratings and useful feedback. Violators of these general principals will be banned from using Collexpo. Please report any use of feedback that is not in keeping with the system’s intent to feedback@collexpo.com.
How are Feedback scores calculated? 1. Total feedback score is simply the sum of all feedbacks, with each feedback value as follows: Excellent = 1, Neutral = 0, Poor = -1 2. Feedback Rate is calculated by dividing the number of Excellent feedback scores into the total number of feedbacks recieved. 3. Transaction totals simply count the number of matching transactions (buying, selling or both) closed involving the member, as buyer, seller or both depending on the statistic.
